What is red light therapy?
Great for when your skin needs to recover.
Red light therapy (also called photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. Unlike traditional sunbeds, these programmes contain no ultraviolet light. The focus is on cellular support and recovery rather than melanin production or tanning.
At Prince Tanning the programmes run on the same advanced K11 Air Plus canopy that delivers our full LED tanning. You can choose a classic UV session or switch to a UV-free LightCare programme on the same machine.
How red light therapy works at Prince
Our flagship bay includes thousands of Nano Beauty LEDs plus dedicated red and infrared LEDs. The LightCare options available include Beauty Light and Energising Light programmes. These are designed as shorter, recovery-oriented sessions that sit comfortably within a normal visit.
Sessions are quiet, controlled, and take place in the same polished private bay used for our premium LED tanning. Staff can guide you on timing and suitability based on your goals.
Results vary from person to person. Red light therapy is not a medical treatment and is offered here as a general wellness and recovery option.
